We continue with Iñaki’s BH (2)

Well, more updates about the BH. After cleaning the frame, rack and chainguard with high presure water, I brush everything to remove the rests of paint that are still there.

Lovely colour!

After wirebrush, Oxide Converter. It makes the reaction with the rust and convert it to a basecoat where you can paint straight over it. Anyway I’ll sand it again and spray another basecoat.

The reaction makes it turn dark purple. That means that is working properly.

Here you can see he process to remove the paint of Iñaki’s pliable BH. He shiped the bike from Madrid couple of years ago, but I only have had time to disaseble all the parts. Now we start to work in the frame to get it’s original red colour.

Pedro takes his new Orion home

Pedro came thi week to take hoem his new 2011 Ridley Orion. Nice bike with Shimano Ultegra 6900 and 4ZA brakes that only costs 1.995€ (Special Ridley’s deal). Not many of those left now, so if you want one run to your Ridley’s dealer!

Ican Triathlon Mallorca 2010

We suported Ican Triathlon that held on Playa de Palma last saturday. We  were there also as exibitor with some Santini, Ridley, Wilier and Powerbar stuff.

During wednesday and thrusday journeys we mounted a Dean frame that did the bike sector on saturday’s competition riden by the  pro cyclist Toni Colom. He was in a team relay with the paralimpic champion Xavi Torres and the pedestrian Melina Sagrera.

Why are we so dirty??!

When we talk about cycling, we are mouthfull of  words about getting away from city polution, contact with nature, blah, blah, blah… But what I find at the edge of the road is what you see at the picture: plastics from our energy bars, inner tubes, tubulars…

Why do not we are slightly more civic and we get our garbage home and get rid of it in the right place?!

KEEP MALLORCA CLEAN!!!

Marcos came to pick up his 6,7kg of Helium

Opened again Festival Park’s road

Last monday we went through the road that goes from Festival Park to Bunyola. It’s been closed for a while due some works that made her wider and with much better asphalt.
