We received some stuff from Brooks: A saddle for Alex Riera’s resto. Tool’s leather bag and rivets are for Tofol’s resto. Hope that rivets match well with his saddle.

I tried to pinstripe Tofol’s bike by hand, but it was a complete disaster. Today I’m back again with the lines, but this time I’m pretty sure they will be straight thanks to the masking I’m doing.

Cold day for cycling

Last saturday we went cycling with Arenal’s group that leave from Hotel San Diego. It was very cold (about 5ºC), rainy and sometimes windy…  Lots of punchures (as you can see) but funny anyway!!!

Saddle: Day 2

I’ve given a gel from Armorall to the saddle just to hydrate it and give some flexibility. Just doing that the colour has changed and it looks like much better. Now I have to find the proper rivets to clamp it to the frame.

I thought that it was to bad and decided to buy  a new leather sadle, but after finding the leather cover and see that it’s the original one, I’ve decided to try to recover it and fix it on the sadle’s frame. Let’s see what happens…

Resto

Last few days I’ve been working in Tofol’s bike. I brought it from Menorca a couple of years ago for a quick resto, but I always was too bussy and the bike was forgoten at the end of the garage. Now, with the frame back from the painter, it’s time to do the puzzle…

Everything came chromed and my job was to mount everything and make sure it last long

Final touch in the paint. Pinstriping is not my best, so I’ll do it all again masking (easier and with better results).

50% of the job done. Still lot of small details to come.
