El 27 y 28 todos a la pista!

Los próximos días 27 y 28 de enero la Penya Ciclista Establiments organiza el IV Trofeu Ciutat de Palma de ciclisme en pista. Allí esteremos nosotros también como expositores en la zona destinada a ello. Os esperamos!

Un Invierno en Mallorca-G.P. Pabisa Hotels

Second and last race of “Un Invierno en Mallorca”. Once again big success for the organization and sponsors, as 158 riders were on the start line in fron of Hotel Pabisa Chico (Playa de Palma) this morning. Contrary of last week, today we depart with sun, but after half race the rain appeared and didn’t stop till the finish of the race. The race was decided in a rush of 20 riders that was won by the german rider Andre Beonit (RV SCHWALBE TRIER). 2nd place was for Stefan Schafer (LKT Team) and the 3rd was for the local rider Raúl Jiménez (Cala d’Or Team).

Un Invierno en Mallorca-G.P. Barceló Pueblo Park

This year only two races in the traditional Challenge “Un Invierno en Mallorca”, but anyway everybody expecting to start the season in Mallorca. First race had 149 riders in the start line but only 77 finished after 128kms in the roads of Playa de Palma and Llucmajor. Griska JANORSCHLE (Nutrixxion-Saparkasse) was the winner but in my opinion the strongest man in the rasce was the belgium Christopher Sleur from VL Technics team(2nd) that was in a rush since km 6 of the race and was able to arrive just few second behind the winner after the final atac in s’Aranjassa.

This has been an incredible year for the Balearic Cycling. 10 national championships during 2010 it’s quite a lot and we are proud of our cyclists and also proud of them wearing our name on their jerseys!

Final stage of the challenge Un Invierno en Mallorca. Sport Bequi in Puerto de Alcudia was the place where the 140 riders did the inscription. The rain was the protagonist since the begining, but anyway the race was very nice, with lot of fight from the begining till the end. Final podium was exactly the same as one week before, with Kadlec, Anderson and Más in that order. First junior was Rubén Sánchez. Challenge was finally won by Lluis Más.

Short race but really hard the one celebrated in Pagera. Three laps to a 26km circuit that was decided in the second one, when a little group could get away from the main peloton. Finally the Czech rider Milan Kadlec won the final sprinto to Lars Anderson (Sweden), both with 9 seconds over Pedro Más.

Once again, local rider Lluis Más was the star of the race that was celebrated in Arenal last week. He alone was able to caught the leading group and, after a couple of try outs, went alone to reach the finish line with 4 seconds advance to his hunters.
